Control
of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations
apply to virtually all UK workplaces. There are mandatory
requirements for employers to carry out Coshh Risk Assessments.
Substances hazardous to health are those products that are
capable of causing adverse effects or disease arising out
of exposure from work activates. It is the employers responsibility
to gather information on these products and either eradicate
the risk or at least control it. Any substance labelled as
Toxic, Irritant, Corrosive or Harmful fall within identifiable
categories defined by Coshh.
Acid Safety Cabinets are manufactured to the same high specification
as Hazardous Substance cabinets providing secure contained storage
of hazardous liquids. Units are polyester powder coated
White RAL 9010. Labelled "Corrosive".

LABELLING
Units supplied with labels measuring 100 x 100mm.
POWDER
COATING
These units are offered with a tough and durable polyester
paint finish. Each unit is individually pre-treated
prior to entering a purpose built gas powered curing
oven for 10 minutes @180 Centigrade. |

CONSTRUCTION
Manufactured using high quality mild steel in a range
of 0.9mm (20swg) - 1.5mm (16swg) thickness to give
a robust unit. Each unit is assembled from pre-formed
steel and mig welded together for extra rigidity.
Welded seams will also assist in maintaining the structural
integrity under extreme conditions. |
